Hobart members connect

The Tasmanian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (TACC) recently hosted its first-ever member social and networking event, marking the beginning of what promises to be a series of engaging gatherings for the TACC community.

Members from various sectors of the automotive industry came together in a relaxed environment, fostering connections and exchanging ideas outside the usual professional setting. The event provided a unique opportunity for business owners, mechanics, suppliers, and industry professionals to interact on a more personal level, strengthening the bonds within the TACC network.

“It was fantastic to see our members connecting in such a casual and friendly atmosphere,” said Bruce McIntosh, who organised the event. “The positive energy and enthusiasm were palpable throughout the evening.”

Attendees expressed their appreciation for the chance to meet colleagues face-to-face and discuss shared interests beyond their day-to-day work. Many noted that the informal setting allowed for more open and creative conversations, potentially leading to new collaborations and innovative ideas within the Tasmanian automotive sector.

The TACC extends its gratitude to the alliance partners who attended and contributed to the event’s success. Their presence underscored the strong relationships that form the backbone of the TACC community.

As the first of many planned social gatherings, this event set a high bar for future networking opportunities. The TACC looks forward to continuing this tradition, bringing members together to build lasting connections and drive innovation in the automotive industry.
